暂无简介Plot Summary:Aging Major Palgrave, an idiosyncratic but charming mystery writer, reveals to Miss Marple that one of the guests at a luxurious Caribbean resort they're staying at is a Bluebeard-type wife murderer. Unfortunately, the Major succumbs to an apparently accidental overdose of alcohol and blood pressure medication before revealing the killer's identity. When it's discovered that the medicine belonged to another guest and the revealing photograph the Major was carrying is missing, Miss Marple realizes that the serial killer has struck again and more murders will follow.

這一系列一向勝在忠實原著，但解謎時分不提假眼，這將如何詮釋全書的誤導，本書也就這一個詭計首尾呼應了。這個馬普爾小姐的體格和氣質非常符合書中爬窗戶被上校調侃的狀態了⋯⋯
海伦海斯版马普尔小姐，挺可爱的老太太。但本片推理性不强，很容易就猜到了凶手，结局也有些草率~
老年人也有傲娇感情线~黄昏恋才真柏拉图吧哈哈。所有疯狂都来自别人的定义，内化认同这种对疯狂的定义，个体自戕，掩盖谋杀。集体性的此类活动，略见不鲜，各自为名。
Helen Hayes主演的两部马普尔系列影片都还不错，尤其是在原著较弱的情况下还能拍得趣味盎然。不过这部改编把原著中的玻璃眼珠线索删掉了，使得结尾破案略显突兀。
