But she needs him home, and will manipulate her daughter to help bring him back. She has a sneaky business deal that she's cooking up with her two elder brothers, Oscar and Ben. Oscar has a flighty, unhappy wife and a dishonest worm of a son. Will the daughter have to marry this contemptible cousin? Who will she grow up to be - her mother or her aunt? 很精彩的场面调度和景深镜头，真如施工图一般严谨。
bette演坏女人简直太游刃有余。。。
感觉结局有些仓促，我还期待着后面有反转呢。比如，男主留给女主的债券被用作投资后亏得一毛钱不剩，女主才幡然醒悟男主的决定实际上是为她考量，对自己当时的“见死不救”追悔终身。
